Reid Schindler is the President of Schindler Design Co. and a Co-Owner of LUX Pool Services in Edmond, OK.  At age 16, Reid began his journey in the pool industry with Gohlke Pools in Denton, TX, before going on to work for Claffey Pools out of Southlake, TX for the next 12 years.  In 2019, Reid and his wife, Rachel, decided to step out on their own and open their family owned and operated firm, Schindler Design Co., which specializes in designing and constructing high end outdoor spaces.  Reid’s design work has garnered more than 25 awards from the Pool and Hot Tub Association and the Master Pools Guild and has been featured in various print and online publications.  In 2019, he was named the PHTA Young Professional of the Year in the pool industry.  Reid continues to teach classes at the Southwest Pool & Spa Show and hosts The Million Dollar Pool Challenge, a design challenge in which participants from around the globe compete to win over $10,000 of prize money, each year at the International Pool & Spa Show.  Schindler Design Co. to date has designed and built 60+ luxury outdoor projects over the last four years throughout the state of Oklahoma, with many garnering design awards and national spotlights in the media.  The sister company Schindler Design Co., LUX Pool Services, provides ongoing maintenance for high end residential and commercial pools.  The LUX Pool Services concept has quickly grown from an idea to one of the top pool maintenance companies in central Oklahoma solely through hard work and client referrals in just a short amount of time.  LUX keeps an ongoing commitment to provide consistent and high-quality pool maintenance services.
